You’re very welcome to just have a coffee in the house gardens or relax in the house and take in the views, but we recommend you take quick drive to the pretty little town of Killarney.
Knockcarrig House is located in a rural residential area of Lissivigeen, at the outskirts of the town, less than 5-10 minutes’ drive away.
It’s much safer to drive to Killarney than to walk, as the pedestrian walkways are unreliable in places. However, it’s a quick drive to Killarney, and a leisurely cycle (about 25 kms, 15.5 miles) Lissivigeen through Woodlawn, along Muckross Road, around Muckross and Dinis and back.
